Back in Charleston

I’m back in Charleston SC for a friends wedding.  To be more accurate, Mount Pleasant.  This is a hidden gem in the area.  Most people head to the beaches or downtown.  Don’t get me wrong those are definitely spots you should see but Mount Pleasant is worth a visit.  The Shem Creek area is beautiful and has several great eating spots.

The area is known for sweet grass baskets that cost less than what you will find at the Charleston Market.  Same artists just less money.

There is also Patriots Point museum and a world class golf course in sight of the Arthur J. Ravenel bridge which is a beautiful bridge overlooking the city.

If you get the opportunity to come down, plan to spend a little time here. It will be well worth the stop.
